15.5.3. Voltage supply from an external source of supply

It is possible to supply the device with an external voltage source. This is usually the case in
applications where it is possible to obtain the supply voltage from a separate supply unit
(e.g. enclosure).
The nominal value of the supply voltage is 24 V DC. The TPK should be supplied with a
stabilised, short-circuit protected and surge-protected voltage source.
The power source of the pressure transducer must be from an energy-limited source (10
A max./30 V max.) and be safely separated from the mains. See EN 61010-1,
paragraph 9.4.
