Replacing the Remote Batteries
The remote requires two AAA batteries, which are held in an enclosure on the back
of the remote.
To replace the battery:
1. Turn the remote over.
2. Slide the battery enclosure cover down off the remote.
3. Remove the old batteries and replace them with the new batteries. Be sure to
match the orientation indicated in the enclosure.
4. Slide the enclosure cover back onto the remote.
Zooms in on the picture. Pressing this button repeatedly cycles through the
zoom levels.
Repeats an arbitrary section of audio/video. Press once to mark the beginning
of the section, a second time to mark the end of the section and begin
repeating, and a third time to return to normal play mode.
Cycles through the recording modes: HQ, SP, LP, EP, and SLP (see
“Recording DVDs” on page 16).
Toggles the video output between progressive scan and interlaced
Cycles through the available repeat modes
Brings up the Record Scheduler, which allows you to schedule future
recordings
Brings up the Setup menu, which allows you to configure the recorder
Brings up the Disc Edit menu, where you can edit the disc and its titles
Puts the recorder in Edit Mode, in which you can edit the contents of titles on
the disc
