DATEM Flags
P064 Near Band
This parameter used in conjunction with P65, is designed to prevent the echo
‘jumping’ to a false echo that is further away when the echo enters into the near
blanking area. As the echo approaches to within 0.2m from the transducer
blanking area and is then ‘lost’ it will not jump to any echo that is further than
0.5m (near jump) away from the blanking. Thus preventing the unit from reading
a low value when it is submerged and possibly switching off pumps.
P065 Near Jump
See above.
Note. With reference to the above two parameters see P080 Lost Lock
P067 Use First (Software Revisions prior to 3.6.0)
This parameter is used to determine which echo is selected for processing. When
set to zero the echo with largest valid peak is chosen, when set to 1 the First valid
echo will be selected unless a larger echo is present beyond the Jump Cut Off
point (P84).
N.B. In software versions up to 2.7.2 Jump Cut Off is P83
