Display shows ‘ Setting’ then ‘Set’ then after a few seconds ‘System’.
Press ‘Cancel’ display will show ‘Run Mode’.
Press enter.
Display shows ‘Wait’ then after a few seconds the correct reading.
If the space between the transducer and the product is particularly cluttered and
the above procedure does not work initially you may try again until the unit is
reading correctly.
The above process and the Pulsar software is excellent at reading the correct echo
under difficult conditions, however it is still good practice to install the transducer
in the optimum position within the application.
If the unit is still not reading go to the self test parameter P990 and enter 1, the
unit should respond with – Clock ok, Eeprom ok.
If the self test responds with a failure, or, is ok but the unit is still not operational
then you should contact Pulsar for further assistance.
