Auto
The port speed is automatically detected.
state [state]
Specifies one of the following administrative states for the specified port:
Online
Activates and prepares the port to send data.
Offline
Prevents the port from receiving signal and accepting a device login.
Diagnostics
Prepares the port for testing and prevents the port from accepting a device
login.
Down
Disables the port by removing power from the port lasers.
Notes Enterprise Fabric Suite 2007 and QuickTools will override any temporary
administrative state changes that have been made using the Set Port State
command. Therefore, to avoid unexpected results, do not manage port
administrative states with Enterprise Fabric Suite 2007 or QuickTools and the CLI
at the same time.
