Specification of water
• Prevent particles such as silt, pipe slag, and bio-
logical matter from entering the unit to prevent
the water side channels in a BPHE from clogging.
These matters may block the channels, causing
bad performance and increased pressure drop.
Under extreme conditions, they may lead to the
BPHE freezing.

If any of the media contains particles larger than
1 mm, use a strainer with a size 40 mesh at the
upstream of the BPHE.

BPHE corrosion, because any chemical corrosion
will void the warranty.
