OPERATION 6
Wing deck mounting.
1. Make sure the hydraulic hoses are plugged to prevent loss of hydraulic oil. Start the engine and lower the
lift arms (A) to the ground, stop the engine and remove the ignition key.
2. Position the wing deck in front of the lift arms and align with the gimbal (D).
3. Slide washer (E) onto pin (F), apply a small amount of grease onto pin (F). Slide pin (F) through the wing
deck mounting bracket (G) and gimbal (D).
4. Install both washers (H & I) onto pin (F) and loosely secure in place with bolt (J).
5. Slide washer (K) onto bolt (L), rotating pin (F) until the holes line up with the deck mounting bracket (G).
Tighten bolt (L) to secure pin (F) in place, tighten bolt (J).
6. Remove the hose plugs and fit the hoses to the flail brake valve on the cutting unit.
CAUTION
The flail blades must be replaced if they;
• Are damaged.
• Are heavily worn.
• The fastening screws or the fastening nuts are worn.
CAUTION
It is important that the rotor is balanced therefore
• Always replace blades of the same type.
• Always replace flail blades opposite to each other.
• In case of wear it is always recommended that all flail blades are replaced as a complete set.
WARNING
Never operate this machine with missing or damaged stone deflectors.
CAUTION
Always inspect the cutting units before use to ensure that the front stone impact
protection device is parallel to the ground before use.
