For layout and dimensioning of supply and waste air please consult your air conditioning specialist and other
authorities involved!
Gas - Installation done correctly
•
Observe the gas power rating of the unit!
The diameter of the gas supply line must be capable to support all connected consumers
Gas line sizing should reflect the total load of the kitchen and be sized to support it with less
than 20% pressure drop. Divide the rated BTU shown above by the below to obtain gas flow
rate. eg. 101 83,500 divided by 1013 = 82.42 cu ft Hr.
Natural Gas 1013 BTU per cubic foot, Liquid Propane 2488 BTU per cubic foot
•
Gas pressure: Static – Dynamic
The difference between static and dynamic gas pressure shall not be more than 20%. In this case please
check gas pipe diameter and capacity of the pressure regulator.
(202G. please observe a 6mbar internal pressure drop)
The dynamic gas pressure is measured only in operation mode Hot Air, when all other consumers are also
switched on with full load.
•
Natural gas US or G20 and G25: dynamic gas
pressure: 6.5-10" W.C. 1.8 – 2.5 kPa
•
Liquified gas G30 and G31: dynamic gas
pressure: 10 - 15" W.C. 2.5 – 5.7 kPa
5kpa = 20" 4.9kpa = 19.7" 4.8kpa = 19.3" 4.3kpa = 17.3"
3.8kpa = 15.2" see below chart
