5.4.2. PTO – Lubrication & Cleaning
Every 8 Hours or Daily:
1. Lubricate the 2 universal joints on the PTO (one at each end of the shaft) (see
Figure 5.2).

2. Lubricate the 2 safety shields on the PTO (one at each end of the shaft) (see Figure
5.3). This is important to ensure the safe operation of the shield components rotating
freely over the PTO shaft.
3. Lubricate the 1 grease zerk on the overrunning clutch on the GrainVac end of the
PTO shaft (see Figure 5.3).
