Maintenance
Install cylinder locks or parking stands before performing any maintenance to your seeder.
Proper servicing and adjustment is the key to the long life of any farm implement. With careful and systematic
inspection, you can avoid costly maintenance, time and repair.
After using your grain drill for several hours, check all bolts to be sure they are tight.
After transporting your grain drill for several hours, check all bolts and nuts to be sure they are tight.
Lubrication
All bearings on the seeder are sealed and do not require lubrication.
Oil chains every 40 hours. Wipe off excess oil.
Grease lift wheel arms, gauge wheel arms and no till swivels every 8 hours.
Lubricate each meter shaft at drive end sprocket, center coupler and end guide. Slide seed meter
adjustment lever back and forth in order to get the oil back into the square.
Parking Stands
1. After hitching the tractor to the seeder, raise the seeder to take the weight off the parking stands. The
stands are located at the rear of the drill on each end.
2. Raise the stands and secure with the pins in the bottom hole of the stand.
Warning
Warning: Do not move the drill with weight on the
stands, they will bend.
