ENGINE AND CYLINDER BLOCK ASSEMBLY
Multifunction support: Removal - Refitting

a Pretighten to torque the bolts 2 and 3 of the multi-
function support (5 N.m).
a Loosen bolts 2 and 3 by one half-turn.
a Pretighten to torque and in order the multifunction
support bolts (initial torque) (5 N.m).
a Tighten to torque and in order:
-the bolts 1, 5, 6, 4, 3, 2 of the multifunction sup-
port (44 N.m),
-the bolt 7 of the multifunction support on the
sump (25 N.m).
II - FINAL OPERATION
a Refit:
-the air conditioning compressor (see Compressor:
Removal - Refitting) (62A, Air conditioning),
-the alternator (see 16A, Starting - Charging, Al-
ternator: Removal - Refitting, page 16A-1) .
a Fit the front end panel.
a Refit:
-the upper bolts on the front end panel,
-the lower bolts on the front end panel.
a Clip on the cooling fan assembly hoses.
a Refit:
-the upper clips on the front end panel,
-the engine wiring channel on the cooling fan as-
sembly,
-the bonnet catch (see Bonnet latch: Removal -
Refitting) (52A, Non-side opening element mecha-
nisms),
-the front impact cross member (see Front impact
cross member: Removal - Refitting) (41A, Front
lower structure),
-the audible warning (see Horn: Removal - Refit-
ting) (82B, Horn),
-the front bumper supports (see Front bumper
support: Removal - Refitting) (42A, Front upper
structure),
-the headlights (see Front headlight: Removal -
Refitting) (80B, Headlights),
-the air deflectors,
-the front bumper (see Front bumper: Removal -
Refitting) (55A, Exterior protection),
a Refit the oil filter (see 10A, Engine and cylinder
block assembly, Oil filter: Removal - Refitting,
page 10A-48) .
a Connect the air temperature sensor connector to the
intake manifold.
a Top up with engine oil recommended by the manu-
facturer (see Engine oil: Specifications) (Techni-
cal Note 6013A, 04A, Lubricants).
a Refit:
- the accessories belt (see 11A, Top and front of
engine, Accessories belt: Removal - Refitting,
page 11A-7) ,
- the engine undertray.
a Refit:
- the front section of the front wheel arch liners (see
Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Refitting)
(55A, Exterior protection),
- the front wheels (see Wheel: Removal - Refitting)
(35A, Wheels and tyres).
a Refit:
- the front section of the front right-hand wheel arch
liner (see Front wheel arch liner: Removal - Re-
fitting) (55A, Exterior protection),
- the front right-hand wheel (see Wheel: Removal -
Refitting) (35A, Wheels and tyres).
a Connect the battery (see Battery: Removal - Refit-
ting) (80A, Battery).
a Fill the refrigerant circuit using a refrigerant char-
ging station (see Coolant circuit Draining - Refil-
ling) (62A, Air conditioning).
