1.5 Mounting of the Device
The board is designed for use with the following devices:
• R7F702300EABA-C (RH850/U2A16)
• R7F702300AFABA-C (RH850/U2A16)
• R7F702301EABG-C (RH850/U2A8)
• R7F702301AFABG-C (RH850/U2A8)
• R7F702302FABB-C (RH850/U2A6) (NOTE: The board has to be modified in order to use
U2A6 device. Please see chapter
1.6 Modifications for U2A6 device

The device must be placed inside the socket IC1. To insert the device, align the device package
A1 pin with the marking of the socket.
The A1pin of the socket is marked with a circle near to the “IC1” label (see also white point in
Figure 1.1 Piggyback board top view
).
The A1 pin of the device is marked by a white triangle on the package (see white circle in the
figure below).
CAUTION
Be careful with the device placement in the socket to avoid damage of the device.
