5.2.8 Setting the pulse per liter
For service and expansion purposes only!
Only change the setting if instructed to do so by Renfert!
Key Display
Press the "MENU" key until the settings are shown�
- Display: Settings�
Press and hold the "MENU" key for approx� 5 seconds�
-"L"or"Gal"ashes.
Press and hold the "MODIFY" key for approx� 10 seconds�
-Pulseperliterisshown,theactivedigitashes.
Press the "MODIFY" key:
- Set the active digit�
Press the "MENU" key:
-Conrmtheactivedigitandmovetothenextdigit.
-Theactivedigitashes(repeattheprocedureuntilthelastdigit).
6 Cleaning / Maintenance
Safefunctioningofthesystemisonlypossibleiftheltercartridgeisreplacedregularly.Thereplacement
cycles depend on the carbonate hardness of the drinking water, usage, and the blend level set�
Werecommendreplacingtheltercartridgeafter6months,butnolaterthanafter12months.
The operator is required to check the system for leaks on a daily basis�
Whenreplacingtheltercartridge,allpartsmustbecheckedforcontaminationanddamage.Damaged
parts must be replaced and contamination removed�
If the system is not used for an extended period, the lter cartridge must be replaced.
6.1 Flushing the system
Thesystemmustbeushedthoroughlyaftermaintenanceworkorifithasnotbeenusedforanextended
period�
⇒ Runtheushinghoseintoasuitablecontainer(e.g.,abucket)orintoadrain.
⇒ Openthepurgevalve(5,Fig.5).
⇒ Turn on the water supply�
⇒ Allowthequantityofwaterspeciedinthetablebelowtoowthrough.
⇒ Closethepurgevalve(CLOSE).
