4.4.4 Fully Depleted Battery
NOTE: Because reconnecting the charged battery is time-sensitive, read these
instructions before beginning this procedure.
BiPAP Focus charging circuitry is designed to detect a battery with a minimum
voltage of 2.80 VDC as measured across the red and black battery connector
wires. If measured battery voltage measured is < 2.80 VDC, use the BiPAP
Focus battery charging cable (P/N 1040421) to provide the initial charge
required to allow the ventilator to recharge a depleted battery:
1. Turn the ventilator OFF (O) and disconnect the power cord from the
rear of the unit (Figure 4-3).
