APPENDIX D: WATER MAKE-UP FLOAT VALVE.
A mechanical oat valve assembly is provided as standard to supply make-up water to basin. The standard
make-up assembly consist of a heavy duty bronze make-up valve connected to a plastic or copper oat
using a threaded stem.
The water level in the basin can be adjusted by repositioning the oat and stem using locknuts. The oat
valve is easily accessible from outside the unit through removable air inlet louver.
If inlet pressure to the mechanical oat valve exceeds 50 psi.
