Make the [Effective Protocol] settings.
Note
❒ You must configure IP address for using TCP/IP protocol. Consult the net-
work administrator for help with the address. You don't have to configure
it if Network Boot is DHCP.
❒ Press the [Invalid] key for redundant protocols.
❒ Press the [Effective] key for TCP/IP protocol when you use pure IP of Net-
Ware 5/5.1.
A Make sure that the [
Network
] key is selected, and then press the [
Effective
Protocol] key.
B Press the [Effective] or [Invalid] key for each protocol.
C Press the [OK] key.
The following operation will be different, according to each protocol.
When using TCP/IP
A Make sure that the [
Network
] key is selected, and then press the [
IP Ad-
dress] key.
B Use the number keys to enter the IP address.
