Press to adjust the scanning density un-

28. {Sort} key (finisher not installed
- copier mode) / {Sort/Staple} key (fin-
isher installed - copier mode)
•Sort
Automatically sorts printed copies.

•Staple
Automatically staples multiple-page

•Stack
Groups together copies of each page

29. {Duplex} key (copier mode)
Press to make two-sided copies. See “Du-

30. {Combine/Series} key (copier
mode)
•Combine
Combines and prints the pages of a
multiple-sheet original onto a single-
sheet. See “One-Sided Combine” and
“Two-Sided Combine”, Copy Reference.
•Series
Copies each side of a two-sided original
onto two sheets. See “Series Copies”,
Copy Reference.
31. mData In indicator (facsimile
and printer mode)
Flashes when the machine is receiving
print jobs or LAN-Fax documents from a
computer. See Facsimile Reference and
Printer Reference. (For machines with the

32. {fOnline} key (printer mode)
Press to switch between on-line and off-
line modes.
33. Quick Dial keys
Press to enter letters and symbols. See
“Entering Text”. Press to select the regis-
tered destination at a single touch. See

34. Quick Dial Flip Plate
Flip the plate downward to change from the
{Quick Dial 01} key to the {Quick Dial 16} key.
Flip the plate upward to change from the
{Quick Dial 17} key to the {Quick Dial 32} key.
35. {Immediate Trans./Memory Trans.}
key (facsimile mode)
Press to toggle between Memory Trans-
mission (Memory Trans.) and Immediate
Transmission (Immediate Trans.) modes.

36. {Resolution} key (facsimile
mode)
Press to specify the resolution of the fax.
