• When you copy custom size originals, make sure you specify the size of the originals. If not, the
image may not be copied properly. See page 41 "Placing custom size originals" or page 43

Sizes difficult to detect
It is difficult for the machine to detect the sizes of the following originals, so select the paper size
manually.
• Originals with indexes, tags, or other projecting parts
• Transparent originals such as OHP transparencies or translucent paper
• Dark originals with lots of text and drawings
• Originals partially consisting of a solid image
• Originals that have solid images around their edges
