Heat Pipe Drive Motor : Lock
 Detected when a LOCK signal (Low) is not detected 10 times in a row during
the period from 1000 msec after startup of the Heat Pipe Drive Motor until
reception of a motor stop signal.
 Harness of the Heat Pipe Drive Motor disconnected
 Malfunction due to an abnormal increase of the fusing roller torque (caused
by, for example, overload due to bearing lock)
 Malfunction due to an error in the motor driver
 Reconnect or replace the Heat Pipe Drive Motor.
 Remove the factor causing the overload in the Left Drawer to restore the
normal torque.
 Replace the motor driver.

PTB Motor Error
When an error state is detected five times in a row, it is determined as abnormal
rotation.
 PTB motor disconnected or defective
 Harness of the PTB motor broken
 PFB defective
 Malfunction due to an abnormal increase of the torque (caused by, for
example, overload due to remaining paper)
1. Check for remaining paper.
2. Perform an Output check for corresponding device.
3. Reconnect the connector.
4. Replace the PTB motor.
5. Replace the PTB drive unit.
6. Replace the PFB.
7. Replace the harness between PFB and PTB motor.
