Inserting the printer paper
r To insert the printer paper

To release the printer paper cover, press the
structured area immediately below the cover.

The cover can then be lifted back.

Place the paper roll in the compartment and pull out
the first few centimetres of paper to just beyond the
edge of the compartment.
I The thermosensitive side of the paper (the outer
surface of the paper roll) should be facing
downwards.

Close the cover again by pressing until it locks audibly
into position.
ATTENTION: To remove the printed test report,
tear off the paper by pulling it in front across the edge.

Switch on the Urisys 1100
®
system using the on/off
switch at the rear of the analyzer.
Performing the Self Check
r To perform the Self Check

The analyzer automatically carries out a self check.
I The default language setting for the
Urisys 1100
®
system is English. The analyzer is
factory set to read Combur10Test
®
UX test strips. It
checks that the correct test strip tray has been
inserted.
