8. Reading test strips 35
r To perform a measurement in Normal
Mode (for Single Readings)

Dip the test strip briefly (1 sec) in the urine sample.

Draw the long edge of the strip along the rim of the
specimen container to remove excess urine.
I Do not bend test strip.

Place the test strip, with the test pads facing upward,
on the test strip tray so that its leading edge is held by
the clip (A) at the insertion slot.
I The retaining bar (B) must be open.

About 2 mm of strip must be held under the clip (A).
