Chapter 3 Configure the 856T-B24LC IO-Link Module
Connect the 856T-B24LC
Module to the IO-Link
Master
Once the IODD file is registered, the device must be connected to the IO-Link
master. The controller must always be Offline to add a device to the IO-Link
Master.
1. Right-click the channel number where the 856T-B24LC module is
configured and click Change.
2. On Change Channel Configuration window, click “…”.
3. Select the appropriate device and click Create.
IMPORTANT Once you click Create, you may have to wait for the configuration
update to complete. During this time, Studio 5000 does not respond.
