Calling Rockwell Automation
for Assistance
If you need to contact Rockwell Automation or local distributor for assistance,
it is helpful to obtain the following (prior to calling):
• controller type, series letter, revision letter, and firmware (FRN) number
of the controller
• controller indicator status
Diagnose fault in Connected Components
Workbench software and see page 265
for
probable cause and recommended action.
Clear the fault.
Correct the condition
causing the fault.
Check the Fault LED.
Flashing red = Recoverable
Solid red = Non-recoverable
Test and verify
system operation.
Is fault recoverable?
Is the Power
LED on?
Check the wiring.
Power cycle the controller.
