Using an expression pedal
as a volume pedal
When you connect an expression pedal (such as
the Roland EV-5; sold separately) to the rear
panel’s CTL 3, 4/EXP PEDAL jack, you will be
able to control the volume of your guitar/bass
that is connected to the GUITAR/BASS INPUT
jack using your feet.
fig.04-300
Use only the specified expression pedal (EV-
5; sold separately). By connecting any other
expression pedals, you risk causing
malfunction and/or damage to the unit.
Both the Roland EV-5 have a minimum
volume setting of 0.
If you’ve selected an effect patch that uses pedal wah
(P-WAH: p. 94), the expression pedal will automatically
function as a wah pedal.
