Parameter Explanation/Value
Panpot
(Panpot)
(Not for VTW Organ Tone)
Depending on the selected sound, this
parameter allows you to change the
Orchestra Chord part’s placement in the
stereo sound field (i.e. between the left
and right speakers) to create a livelier
sound image.
The “TR” values mean that the sound
will appear on the same side as the Right
Hand (treble) accordion sound.
This setting applies to both the FR-4x’s
internal speakers and the L/ MONO jack.
The “BS” values mean that the sound
will appear on the same side as the bass
accordion sound (which is not available
while an Orchestra Chord sound is being
used).
This setting applies to both the FR-4x’s
internal speakers and the R/ MONO jack.
Choose “0” if the Orchestra Chord sound
should be at the center of the stereo
image.

Parameter Explanation/Value
Voicing
(Voicing)
This lets you specify the inversion of the
chord that is played by the orchestra
chord part.
“MOD (Mode) 1–3”
You can play a root position chord
(Mode 1), a 1st inversion chord (Mode 2),
and a 2nd inversion chord (Mode 3).
MODE 1 MODE 2 MODE 3
* The example in the figure is a C Major
chord, but the concept is the same for
min, 7th, and Dim chords.
CYC (Cycle) 1–10”
This means that each time you play
the same button in the left-hand chord
section, the chord plays the next mode in
the repeating series shown below.
CYCLE 1 CYCLE 2 CYCLE 3
CYCLE 4 CYCLE 5 CYCLE 6
CYCLE 7 CYCLE 8 CYCLE 9
CYCLE 10
NOTE
5 When youre playing Orchestra chords,
the FR-4x always transmits the root
position chord form via MIDI to avoid any
problems with the control of an external
MIDI arranger.
5 If LowestNt (Lowest Note) is the GTR1,
GTR2, or “GTR3” value, Voicing is
indicated as “----” and cannot be edited.
MOD1–MOD3, CYC1–CY10
Rev Send
(Reverb Send)
Cho Send
(Chorus Send)
(Not for VTW Organ Tone)
Use these parameters to set the Reverb
or Chorus send levels (how much effect
should be applied to the Orchestra Chord
section).
