Either use dierent external media, or delete
unneeded les before you try the operation
again.

The external media may be corrupted.
Insert other external media and try again.
Alternatively, you can initialize the external
media.
Error 15
The data format is not compatible with this
instrument.
The le is unreadable. The data format is not
compatible with the RD-300NX.
Only les in the following formats can be used.
• Live Set les with an extension of “RDS” (*)
• SMF music les with an extension of “MID”
• Audio les with an extension of “WAV”
For details on audio le formats, refer to “Types
of audio les that the RD-300NX can play” (p. 86).

Data could not be read fast enough for

A MIDI transmission error has occurred.

Check the MIDI cable and connected MIDI
device.
Error 51
System error. Repeat procedure, or power o,
then on.
There may be a problem with the system.
Repeat the procedure from the beginning. If it
is not solved after you have tried several times,
contact the Roland service center.
Error 65
The USB Memory port was subjected to
excessive current.
The USB MEMORY connector was subjected to
excessive current.
Make sure that there is no problem with the
external media, then turn the power o, then
on again.
(*) The RD-300NX cannot read the setup les or live set les of other models.
