If the print-head carriage stops over the at table, take acon immediately to prevent the heads from drying out.
What to Do First
Switch the sub power o and then back on again. If the print heads move to the home posion (inside the panel
cover), it means the operaon has ended successfully.
If the print heads sll do not move
Try switching o the main power, then switching on the main power again, followed by the sub power.
If the Heads Sll Do Not Move
If the heads sll do not move, carry out the following emergency response measure, and then contact your au-
thorized Roland DG Corporaon dealer.
Procedure
1. Switch o the main power, and then open the front cover.
2. Gently move the print-head carriage to the home posion by hand.
Stopping at the place where the audible click is heard locks the print-head carriage in place.
3. Close the front cover.
