Hydrostatic pump is malfunctioning
Operating engine at high altitude
Air intake piping restricted
Air cleaner element dirty
Fuel suction line or filter restricted
Fuel return system restricted
Fuel quality poor
Fuel transfer pump malfunctioning
Throttle improperly adjusted
Injector malfunctioning
Low hydraulic fluid level.
Hydraulic reservoir return filters
contain contamination.
Hydraulic pump priority relief valve
set incorrectly.
Worn hydraulic pump.
Worn steering orbitrol motor.
Worn steering cylinder
Repair/Replace pump
De-rate engine power output for
altitudes above 1000 feet
Remove restrictions.
Clean/Replace air cleaner elements
Check fuel line for restrictions.
Replace fuel filter element(s)
Check/Correct restricted fuel return
system
Verify by operating with a known fuel
quality
Check/Replace fuel transfer pump.

Check/Adjust throttle controls
Check/Replace injector. See Engine

Add fluid to proper level. See

Check return filter(s) for contamination
