Troubleshooting
Problem Cause
Solution
Check/Repair wiring
Check diode wire connection and/or
replace diode
Check solenoid for defects or foreign
material inhibiting proper operations.
Locate and isolate the source of
fumes.
Set idle to specifications.
Check/Replace if necessary
Repair wiring or connection
Replace/Repair solenoid cartridge and/
or coil
Adjust relief valve to 3000 psi or
replace if defective. See Maintenance
Section.
See Brush Down Pressure Control in
Operation Section
Pull back on hydrostatic control lever
and increase engine RPM to Increase
brush speed. Always sweep in LOW
range.
Electrical wiring fault supplying
power to fuel solenoid when key is
in “OFF” position.
Faulty diode in engine wire harness
at alternator
Injection pump fuel solenoid
inoperative.
Engine operating on fumes drawn
into air intake.
Low idle set too high
Faulty switch
Loose wiring or connector to two
speed solenoid valve
Faulty solenoid on two speed

Brush drive relief valve set too low
