3.2.3 Truvativ Descendant Direct Mount
1. Clean and degrease the lower leg arch and handlebar.
2. Place the rear part of the stem on the lower leg arch
and tighten the bolts (1) hand-tight.
3. Tighten the bolts (1) to a torque of 16 Nm.
4. Install the handlebar.
5. Place the upper clamping shells on the handlebar.
6. Tighten the bolts (2) hand-tight, but do not tighten
them completely yet.
7. Centrally align the handlebar and adjust the angle
according to your preferences.
8. Tighten the four bolts (4) alternately in small
increments until you’ve reached a torque of 5 Nm.
9. Adjust the headset play. Make sure to preload the
adjusting bolt by half a turn after adjusting the play.
