Inspection procedures
Priming pump
All moving parts are oil-bath lubricated.
D81 Oil filler plug
D82 Oil drain plug
D84 Oil level sight glass
Check oil level:
► Check the oil level of the priming pump with the sight glass.
The oil level must be between the top and bottom markings.
► If required add oil up to the upper mark.
Refer to chapter "Change the priming pump oil".
Engine oil level control
► Position the portable fire pump on an even surface.
► Start the engine and let it idle for at least 20-30 seconds.
► Switch off the engine.
► Unscrew the oil dipstick (M2) and wipe it clean.
► Screw the oil dipstick (M2) in again and tighten it.
► Unscrew the oil dipstick (M2) and take a reading of the oil level.
The oil level should be just below or at the MAX marking.
► If necessary, refill engine oil.
The oil quantity between the MIN and MAX marking is around 500
ml.
