Storage conditions
Ö Protect the valve in its original packaging in a covered
location in a clean and dry environment against external
infl uences, such as impacts.
Ö Secure the valve in the storage position against slipping or
tipping over.
Ö Do not damage the corrosion protection (paint, surface
coating). Remedy any damage immediately.
Ö Protect the valve against moisture and dirt and store at a
relative humidity of <75%. Prevent condensation in damp
rooms. Use a desiccant or heater.
Ö Make sure that the surrounding area is free of acids or other
corrosive and aggressive media.
Ö The permissible storage temperature for valves is from –20to
+65°C.
Ö No components may be placed on the valve.
Special storage conditions for elastomer
Example of elastomer: Actuator seals
Ö To maintain the shape and avoid the formation of cracks, do
not suspend or bend elastomers.
Ö SAMSON LEUSCH recommends a storage temperature of
15°C for elastomers.
Ö Store elastomers separately from lubricants, chemicals,
solutions and fuels.
