8 Malfunction
When rectifying the faults, chapter “1 Safety instructions and safety measures” must be observed.
8.1 Detecting and rectifying errors
Type of fault Cause Measure Note
Leaks in the passage Wedge-lock-washer not in the
closed position
Check the end stops on the actuator and/
or gear (sealing paint undamaged)

In the case of faults that are not listed in the table, contact the After Sales Service at SAMSON LEUSCH. In this case, contact the nearest
SAMSON of ce.
8.2 Carrying out emergency measures
The system operator is responsible for emergency measures. In
the case of an actuator fault, observe the measures in Chapter
8.1.
In case of an actuator fault:
Ö Close off the pipe upstream and downstream of the actuator
so that no medium ows through the actuator.
Ö Troubleshoot the error, see chapter 8.1.
Ö Rectify the fault that can be xed as indicated in the instruc-
tions provided in this installation and operating manual.
Contact SAMSON LEUSCH through the nearest SAMSON of-
ce for additional errors.
