Mute the Ringing Sound
You can mute the ringtone without rejecting the call by doing one of the following.
● Press the Volume key do

● Place the phone screen-do

● Cover the screen with your hand. See Motions and Gestures Settings
Reject an Incoming Call
When you reject a call, the caller is sent to voicemail, where they can leave a voice message.
When you are actively using your phone, the incoming call displays on the Edge screen. When your
phone is inactiv
e, the incoming call appears on the main screen.
To reject a call from the E
dge screen:

up to reject the call.
To reject a call from the main screen:

to the left
to reject the call.
Reject an Incoming Call with a Text Message
You can reject an incoming call by sending a text message to the caller.
When you are actively using your phone, the incoming call displays on the Edge screen. When your
phone is inactive, the incoming call appears on the main screen.
Note: You can only reject an incoming call with a text message from the main screen. If your incoming
call appears
on the Edge screen, tap
Switch to full screen
to move the incoming call to the main
screen.
