4. Temp. and airflow sensors
The projector provides 2 temperature sensor ICs and an airflow sensor. The temperature sensor ICs monitor internal
temperature and external temperature (around the intake duct ) respectively. The airflow sensor monitors intake air-
flow through the airfilter to detect the airfilter clogged.
- Internal temperature sensor A (IC8821)
- Internal temperature sensor B (IC8841) (around the intake duct)
- Airflow sensor (SS901)
- Panel (Polarized glass) thermistor (SW913)
- Shutter thermostat switch (SW914)
5. Power failure and fan lock detection
The projector provides the detection circuits of the power failure and the fan lock. When the detection circuit detects
an error at the power supply line or the fan lock detection line, the projector will turn into the standby mode to protect
the other circuits defective.
- If the all of LEDs are blinking, the projector may defect the failure on the fan or the power supply lines. Check fan
operation and power supply lines referring to the chapter “Power supply and Failure Detection” in the Chassis Block
Diagram section.
