2. Circuit Adjustments
CAUTION: The each circuit has been made by the fine adjustment at factory. Do not attempt to adjust the following
adjustments except requiring the readjustments in servicing otherwise it may cause loss of performance
and product safety.
x Fan Control adjustment
Fan control adjustment-1 (Normal mode)
1 Enter the service mode, select group no. “140”, item
no. “1” and set data value to “0”.
2 Connect a digital voltmeter to test point “TP3601” (+)
on the POWER(DC) board and chassis ground (-). Se-
lect item no. “5” and change data value to adjust volt-
age to be 13.5 ±0.1V. Select item no. “6” and change
data value to adjust voltage to be 7.5 ±0.1V.
3 Select group no. “140”, item no. “1” and set data value
to “2”.
4 Connect a digital voltmeter to test point “FAN_C” (+)
and chassis ground (-). Select item no. “5” and change
data value to adjust voltage to be 13.2 ±0.1V. Select
item no. “6” and change data value to adjust voltage to
be 10.5 ±0.1V.
Fan control adjustment-2 (Dim mode)
1 Select group no. “140”, item no. “1” and set data value
to “3”.
2 Connect a digital voltmeter to test point “FAN_D1” (+)
and chassis ground (-). Select item no. “5” and change
data value to adjust voltage to be 13.0 ±0.1V. Select
item no. “4” and change data value to adjust voltage to
be 11.0 ±0.1V.
3 Select group no. “140”, item no. “1” and set data value
to “4”.
4 Connect a digital voltmeter to test point “FAN_D2” (+)
and chassis ground (-). Select item no. “5” and change
data value to adjust voltage to be 12.0 ±0.1V. Select
item no. “6” and change data value to adjust voltage to
be 9.5 ±0.1V.

Electrical Adjustments
z Dimmer Control Check
1 Receive the 100% whole-black computer signal with
INPUT 2 [RGB] mode.
2 Enter the service mode.
3 Select group no. “40”, item no. “0” and set data value
to “1”.
4 Set item no. “1” and data value to “15”.
5 In 90 seconds after the Lamp-on, set item no. “1” and
data value to “0” and check that the white part of the
projected image (on screen menu) becomes dark.
6 Set item no. “1” and data value to “15” and check that
the white part of the projected image (on screen menu)
brighten up.
