6.4 Automatic Logout
Login and automatic login is already described in chapter 6.2.9 User
management and 6.3.8 User management.
The automatic logout feature is based on CFR21 Part 11. After a certain time
without user interaction, the machine logs out automatically. Changes not
saved will be discarded. However, there are certain exceptions.
No user interaction is required during a process (e.g. welding). The time
starts counting after the weld is completed. Weld log screen or screen for
removing the blade do not count to the process. If the timer runs out during
one of those screens, the login screen will appear after the last screen
(remove blade).
The same situation is by the validation or initialisation. No user interaction is
needed as long as the BWTC is doing some work (moving motors or
heating). After the work
is done (waiting for the user to do something) the logout timer is running.
The login screen will appear immediately after time run out or after some
ending up user interaction (e.g. removing the blade).
The timer can be adjusted in the web interface under general parameters. If
a user has the automatic login, the automatic logout is deactivated.
