7.3 Assigning a Password
Procedure
t Log into the device using the user profile for which a password needs
tobe assigned.
t Open the “Settings / User Management” menu.
t Press the [Lock] button.
y The user password input field is displayed.
t Enter the desired password in the entry field and confirm with the
[OK]button.
7.4 Opening the Help Function
Help texts can be called up for the following submenus during the
systemsettings:
− User management
− Printing concept
− Network connection
− Weighing characteristics and weighing function
− Timer-controlled actions
The help functions have a full text search and are equipped with links.
Procedure
t Open the “Settings / User Management” menu.
t Press the [Help] button.
y The help texts are displayed, e.g., for the “User management”.
t Change the structure: Press the [Info] button.
t Export the help text as a PDF file: Press the [Export] button.
7.5 Setting Up Device for Network Printer
7.5.1 Selecting Configuration for Network Printing
Two configurations are possible:
− The device and the network printer communicate via an independent
Wi-Fi network with standard Wi-Fi components. No security guidelines
or network settings need to be taken into consideration here.
Thisconfiguration is recommended if no other network functions are
being used and simple printing is enough.
