7.7.8 Parameters in the “Connections / Network” Menu
Parameter Setting Values Explanation
General settings Host name Saves the device host name.
Ethernet IPv4 method Sets the method to DHCP, Manual or Off.
IPv4 address If “Manual” has been selected for the IP method:
Saves the number of an IP address.
IPv4 subnet mask If “Manual” has been selected for the IP method:
Saves the number of a subnet mask.
IPv4 gateway If “Manual” has been selected for the IP method:
Saves the number of the gateway.
IPv6 method Sets the method to Auto, Manual or Off.
IPv6 address If “Manual” has been selected for the IP method:
Saves the number of an IP address.
IPv6 prefix length If “Manual” has been selected for the IP method:
Saves the number of the prefix length.
IPv6 gateway If “Manual” has been selected for the IP method:
Saves the number of the gateway.
DNS 1 Saves the value for DNS1.
DNS 2 Saves the value for DNS2.
Wi-Fi Wi-Fi SSID Saves the name of the WI-FI SSID.
Wi-Fi password Saves a password for Wi-Fi access.
