Right
19.786 m/s²
Left
19.879 m/s²
Measurement uncertainty K
1.5 m/s²
Limit the noise and vibration to a minimum!
• Only use appliances which are in perfect working
order.
• Service and clean the appliance regularly.
• Adapt your working style to suit the appliance.
• Do not overload the appliance.
• Have the appliance serviced whenever necessary.
• Switch the appliance o when it is not in use.
• Wear protective gloves.
Warning!
In case of extended working periods, the operating
personnel may suer circulatory disturbances in their
hands (vibration white nger) due to vibrations.
Raynaud‘s syndrome is a vascular disease that caus-
es the small blood vessels on the ngers and toes to
cramp in spasms. The aected areas are no longer
supplied with sucient blood and therefore appear
extremely pale. The frequent use of vibrating devices
can cause nerve damage in people whose circulation
is impaired (e.g. smokers, diabetics).
If you notice unusual adverse eects, stop working im-
mediately and seek medical advice.
Observe the following information to reduce hazards:
• Keep your body and especially your hands warm in
cold weather.
• Take regular breaks and move your hands to pro-
mote circulation.
• Ensure as little vibration as possible at the machine
via regular maintenance and stable parts on the de-
vice.
7. Before operation
Assembly
For packaging reasons, your machine has not been as-
sembled completely.
Inserting the earth auger (g. 2)
• Place the motor casing on a work bench. Place the
earth auger (7) on the drive shaft (6), ensuring that
both holes are aligned.
• Insert the locking pin (A).
Check fuel lines, fuel tank cap and fuel tank for leak-
ages or tears.
Do not start the machine with such damage.
Do not refuel the machine when the motor is still hot
or running.
Never refuel the machine close to an open ame.
Period of use:
Using the earth auger can lead to poor circulation in
the ngers, hands or wrists. Symptoms such as pins
and needles, pain, stinging and changes in the skin can
occur.
If these symptoms occur, seek medical help.
Use appropriate gloves and take regular breaks.
Keep this safety information in a safe place.
