Faults

Can lead to a fault reaction
Must be acknowledged once the cause has been remedied
Status via Control Unit and LED RDY
Status via PROFIdrive status signal ZSW1.3 (fault active).
Entry in the fault buffer
Alarms

Have no further effect on the drive unit
The alarms are automatically reset once the cause has been remedied. No
acknowledgment is required.
