Final steps
• Reinstall the swivel arm covers.
• Take exposures with 2-cm and 6-cm phantoms. Ensure that the edge of the compres-
sion plate (paddle) is not visible. Test compression plate recognition. Check whether
the compression unit recognizes the compression plates. All compression plates in the
compression unit are tested consecutively to determine whether the collimator is colli-
mating to the correct size.
• The compression plate alignment and compression force tests have to be per-
formed according to the QC manual.
