DP/PA link connections
The following figure shows all connections that must be established to and from
the DP/PA link for redundant operation:
Supply voltage and
PE conductor
24V DC supply
voltage for IM 157
S7-400H
24V DC power supply for DP/PA coupler
(optional external configuration)
PROFIBUS-PA

Power supply
In the DP/PA link, power supplies are required for both IM 157 and for each DP/PA
coupler.
PROFIBUS-DP
In the DP/PA link, PROFIBUS-DP connections to S7-400H are required for both
IM 157.
