S7-1500H(F):
Support of system redundancy R1
H-CPUs do not have to be part of a PROFINET ring or MRP do-
main.
This allows additional topology variants, such as line topology
or setup without additional devices.

R-CPUs: CP 1543-1 in the central configuration with a U-
connector
H-CPUs: CP 1543-1 in the central configuration with active
backplane bus

Please note the following restrictions with the S7-1500R/H redundant system compared to
the S7-1500 automation system.

No support for fail-safe modules on the 1513R-1 PN, 1515R-2 PN,
and 1517H-3 PN CPUs because no fail-safe variants of the CPUs are
available.
Fail-safe modules are only supported by the HF-CPUs.

The redundant S7-1500R/H system supports only the following
central modules:
Communications processor CP 1543-1
PS 25W 24V DC
PS 60W 24/48/60V DC
