6.3 Configuration versions
Introduction
You can configure different versions of the S7-1500R/H redundant system.
For the configuration variants of the S7-1500R/H system, there is redundancy for the
following components:
• R/H-CPUs
• Synchronization interfaces
• Communications processors
• System power supplies (only with H-CPUs via active backplane bus)
• Media in the PROFINET ring
• Interface module and PROFINET networks with R1 devices
