7.1 Downloading system data and user program
Proceed as follows
The hardware and software are now ready. The next step is to download the system data
and the user program into the automation system. To do this, proceed as follows:

Step Graphic controller Description
1 Using the SIMATIC Manager,
download the user program and the
system data (containing the
hardware configuration) into the
CPU.

Follow the instructions displayed on
the screen.
If all sensors are properly
connected, the CPU and the SM331
do not display an error light.
The status of the CPU is displayed
by the green "RUN" light.
