5.2 Axis expansion with the SIMODRIVE 611D closed-loop
control module
Axis expansion with the SIMODRIVE 611D closed-loop control module is only
used when there are insufficient measuring channels on the SINUMERIK 810D
or higher performance is required.
The SIMODRIVE 611D module is mounted as the first module to the right of the
SINUMERIK 810D. When connecting the DC link busbars, all screws must be
tightened (note the torque).
You need a special cable set to connect the SIMODRIVE 611D closed
-loop
control module. This cable set contains the connection to the drive bus and
another device bus cable.
