4.3 Power supply
Power is supplied to the HT 10 from a connection box through the connecting cable. The
following power consumption values for an HT 10 provide a con󹪝guration basis for calculating
the 24 V DC power supply supply.

Note
When using external power supplies (e.g. SITOP), the ground potential of the power supply must
be connected to the protective conductor connection of the system (SELV/PELV).
Note
Ground potential and enclosure (PE) are connected internally to one another with low
impedance.
Interface characteristics
The following special requirements apply to the connecting cables:
The 24 V DC cable must be approved for temperatures up to 70 °C.
Observe the permissible bending radius of the cables.
Route all the cables so that they cannot be crushed or pinched.
Route all the cables so that they cannot come into contact with cha󹪝ng edges.
