The interface is designed as a "high powered interface" (5 V/500 mA). As a result, the USB hub
can only be connected to USB interfaces which possess their own power supply and whose
downstream ports are capable of supplying a 500 mA current. A standard USB 2.0 Hi-Speed
cable of max. 3 m in length (recommended: 1.5 m) is supported.
