✧ The IEC61850 System Configurator opens with the IEC61850 station application and Subnet1.

✧ If necessary, change the Name for Subnet1 in the Properties window (right window) and the parameters
(for example, IP start address, subnet mask, standard gateway).
✧ Click the SIPROTEC device and change its parameters in the Properties window (right window)
(for example, IP address, subnet mask, standard gateway).

To synchronize the time via NTP, first import an ICD file of an SNTP server into the device manager. See
section Synchronization via NTP in this chapter for more information.
